"The concerned parties should become serious towards opening the door to the budget approval," he said and added that efforts were being made to develop a system which would ensure that the budget cannot be stopped at any cost.

Responding to a query, the Finance Minister said the Janakpur Cigarette Factory has not been able to operate due to differences between the Minister concerned and the Manager.

He also disclosed that a proposal had been forwarded to the Government of India for the expansion of Janakpur Airport.

Minister Pandey on the occasion emphasized on the need for the political parties to stop playing the power grabbing game and concentrate towards ensuring peace and the new Constitution.

He also expressed the hope that the country would receive a new Prime Minister on September 26 as efforts were on to reach a consensus to remove all difficulties and obstacles before the election takes place.
