According to police, Sunar had called his sister to his home on Friday for Dar feast on the eve of Teej while Sunar"s wife along with her son had gone to her father"s house for Dar. [break]

According to Police Inspector Jiwan Budhathoki of Area Police Office, a drunken Sunar killed his 55-year-old sister after attempting to rape her. Sunar had dragged and thrown the body 200 meters away from home early in the morning on Saturday.
“He killed her on Friday evening,” Budhathoki said. Budhathoki said that on Friday evening, Sunar had attepted to rape her while she was sleeping.
Sunar has confessed to the police about the crime.
Villagers said that prior to this, Sunar had attempted to sexually harass other women in the village.
