KATHMANDU, Jan 27: The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane from his post. A constitutional bench of the apex court found him guilty in the citizenship and passport case.

The apex court stripped his position as a lawmaker, arguing that Lamichhane had not initiated a process to take Nepali citizenship certificate after renouncing the US citizenship.
