ROLPA, Nov 16: A bomb was hurled at Amar Singh Pun’s vehicle which was en route to Jailipokhari from Liwang of Rolpa. Pun is State Minister of Irrigation and Nepali Congress’s candidate for the upcoming elections. Speaking to Republica Online, Pun condemned the attack and urged for immediate stop. It has been rumored that the bomb was hurled by CPN-Maoists (revolutionary) to increase fear.

Chief District Officer, Dijen Bhattarai said that police had been deployed to find those involved in the incident. “We’ve increased police presence in the area,” Bhattarai said.
