Bodies of Rangeli victims to be received on Monday

BIRATNAGAR, Jan 24: The concerned side is receiving the dead bodies of Rangeli victims on Monday. Some three persons had lost their lives in police firing that took place on January 21.

Mornag Chairman of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Raj Kumar Yadav, said that the bodies of the deceased would be received Monday after an agreement was signed between the United Democratic Madhesi Front and the Morang District Administration Office on Sunday.The last rites of the deceased would be performed bringing the bodies back to their ancestral villages, he further said, adding the dead bodies would be taken around Biratnagar bazaar.

Meanwhile, all the process related to postmortem concluded today and the dead bodies are kept at morgue of the Koshi Zonal Office.

Consensus was forged to provide Rs 25,000 each to the family member of the deceased as funeral expense and to inform the Home Ministry regarding declaration of martyrs to those deceased in police action. RSS
