They made the commitment at the 12th Nepal-China Non-governmental Cooperation Forum (NCNCF) meeting that concluded in Beijing on Saturday.
Suraj Vaidya, president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Li Lu, vice-chairman of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) led the delegation of their respective organizations in the meeting.[break]
According to a press statement issued on Sunday, business people of both the countries stressed the need to develop surface and aerial transport to enhance mobility of people. Similarly, they also acknowledged the necessity to develop renewal energy in the country.
China Chamber of Tourism, a representative association of local tourism promoters, and Hanergy, a renowned energy company, have showed interest to invest in Nepal.
At a meeting with Chinese investors, Vaidya urged them to invest in tourism infrastructure and hotels in Nepal, according to the statement.
