BIZ BRIFS: Mahindra 2Wheelers opens new service center

KATHMANDU: S G Global -- the authorized distributor for Mahindra2Wheelers in Nepal -- Sunday opened its new service center under Tavish Auto at Naxal. According to a press statement issued by the company, the Naxal showroom has added new service center to its wings to facilitate the customers with enhanced services and technical support.



Inaugurating the new service center, Shahil Agarwal, joint managing director of Shanker Group, said the services provided at the new facility will create a benchmark in two-wheelers industry as it is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and powered with skillful and trained manpower to facilitate an overwhelming demand for Mahindra 2Wheelers.



Smart Lollypop launched in new flavors



KATHMANDU : Sujal Foods has launched Smart Lollypop in two new exotic flavors -- strawberry and green apple. Issuing a press statement, the company said the two exotic fruit flavor lollypops will offer customers more fun with unique taste. Smart Lollypop is manufactured by using state of art technology in strict hygienic condition delivering standardized product while consuming every time, said the statement. It is packed in international standard metallic wrapper with artistic presentation using vibrant colors while keeping the product safe. Smart Lollypop is available in all retail outlets across the country and costs Rs 3 per unit. It is offered in a beautiful jar with mix of strawberry and green apple flavors.



Agni Incorporated launches festive scheme

KATHMANDU: Agni Incorporated -- the sole authorized distributor of Demak bikes -- has launched festive offer ´DTM ma Sarara, 20,000 Ganau Kharara´ in the domestic market. According to a press statement, under the scheme on every purchase of Demak DTM 150 motorbike the customer will be entitled with a flat cash discount of Rs 20,000. The offer will be valid from October 1 to November 23. "We firmly believe that the scheme will be appreciated by the customers and will help boost our sales," the statement added.



Shuvalaxmi reduces loan interest rate

KATHMANDU : Shuvalaxmi Finance has reduced the interest rate on gold loan, small and medium scale industry loan and home loan effective from Sunday. Issuing a press statement on Sunday, the finance company said interest rates of these loan products range from 13-16 percent.



´iPhone 5 can be used in Nepal´

KATHMANDU : CTV Mobile at Tamrakar House, New Road has claimed that it can make SIM cards distributed by local telephone operators workable for Apple´s iPhone5. "Some people are saying that iPhone cannot be used in Nepal. It is not true, we make iPhone 5 work in Nepal by using SIM distributed by Nepal Telecom and Ncell," Alive Glider, managing director of CTV Mobile, claimed in a statement issued on Sunday. CTV Mobile sells and repairs mobile phones of various brands. iPhone 5, brough from informal channels, is available in the local market in the price range of Rs 90,000 to Rs 115,000.



Civil Bank introduces e-banking

KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): Civil Bank has introduced Internet banking and mobile banking services to its customers. According to press release issued on Sunday, the services of the bank have features of balance enquiry, mini statement viewing, utility bills payment, transaction alert, forex rate enquiry, cheque book requisition and fund transfer, among others.
