BHAKTAPUR, April 14 : The ceremonial pole (Lyo Sin Dyo) of Bhaktapur’s Biska Jatra was finally erected on Monday afternoon after an unsuccessful attempt the previous night.

According to festival organizers, the 55-haath-long wooden pole was raised at around 1:15 pm, though traditionally, it should be erected on the last day of the year. This year, however, the pole could not be raised on time and was set up a day later.
