Chaudhary is leading with 20,416 votes. His closest rival, Hridesh Tripathi of Janata Pragatisheel Party, is trailing behind him with 15,369 votes.
Similarly, Mahendra Sen (Thakuri) of Rastriya Swatantra Party is in the third position with 11,933 votes.
