KATHMANDU, Oct 9: A central member of Nepali Congress and Nepal’s only billionaire Binod Chaudhary is going to be a candidate for the member of the House of Representatives from Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta West)-1.
Chaudhary, who was previously a member of the House of Representatives under proportional representation, has become a candidate for direct elections for the first time.

Chaudhary, who became a proportional member of parliament from the CPN-UML in the Constituent Assembly elections of 2064, became a proportional member of parliament from Nepali Congress in 2074.
