POKHARA, Dec 6: Nepal's Bikash Thapa has claimed a gold medal in men's weightlifting 89 kg category at the ongoing 13th edition of South Asian Games (SAG).

On the second day of weightlifting in Pokhara on Friday, Thapa created a national record as well. He lifted 123 kg in snatch and 146 kg in clean and jerk to clinch gold.
