A tribute page was set up in her memory, with family members posting heartfelt messages since her death in October.
'Sadly we lost a beautiful and amazing girl today, the most kindest and unselfish person I know,' her sister said at the time.
We are absolutely devastated and there will never be a day that goes by where we don't think about you Katie, our lives will never be the same again.'
An online donations fund raised more than £6,000, with the money being spent on funeral costs and a handmade bench.
It will be placed in South Petherton Cemetery in Somerset, a post on the memorial page said.
