“During the rainy season, electricity produced in Nepal goes to waste, but in the dry season we face shortages,” Shah said. “A country can never become rich by selling its cheap electricity. It becomes prosperous only by using it and storing it. Fertilizer factories, data centers, and cold storage facilities are the batteries that can store this power.”

He emphasized that building such infrastructure is essential to retain and utilize domestically produced electricity within Nepal. Shah added that the Rastriya Swatantra Party aims to become the party that develops such ‘batteries’ and leads the country toward prosperity.

Drawing a comparison, he said, “Our country is like the Hetauda Cement Factory. It has machines, manpower and mines, yet it remains closed. Now it must operate. RSP wants to be the party that revives such industries and drives the nation forward.”
