KATHMANDU, July 18: Newly-appointed Attorney General Ramesh Badal has taken the oath of office and secrecy.
Chief Justice Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha administered the oath of office and secrecy amidst a special function held at the President’s office, Sheetal Niwas, on Thursday.

President Ram Chandra Paudel appointed him as Attorney General on Wednesday.
As per the Article 157(2) of the Constitution, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli recommended him for the post of Attorney General.
