Aslesha finishes 15th in ITF 14 & Under Asian C'ship

KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Nepali tennis player Aslesha Lissanevitch finished 15th in the girls´ section of the ITF 14 & Under Asian Championship 2009 that concluded on January 21 in Malaysia. [break]

 

According to a statement received here, Lissanevitch beat players from Bangladesh, Laos, Bhutan, compatriot Meena Gharti and two each from Malaysia and Maldives to finish 15th while Gharti came 21st among 24 players in the 12-day event.



Likewise, Achal Thapa and Milan Rokka finished 29th and 34th in the boys´ section of the event featuring 35 players.
