KATHMANDU, Nov 29: An art exhibition titled “Deities of Nepal” is being held at Nepal Art Council on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of Nepal Art Council and 50th anniversary of Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal from November 27 to December 10, 2022.
According to a statement issued by the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, Ambassador of India Shri Naveen Srivastava inaugurated the exhibition on November 27 in presence of President of Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal Prachanda Shakya, Nepal Art Council President Sagar SJB Rana, Deputy Mayor of Lalitpur Manjiri Shakya and Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Sunita Dangol.

Moreover, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), Kathmandu is also organizing a two day lecture series titled as ‘Iconographic Expressions of the Deities of India and Nepal’ on November 28 and 29.
