Armed Police in women volleyball semis

KATHMANDU, March 14: The host departmental team Armed Police Force has advanced into semifinals of the ongoing fifth Open Women’s National Volleyball Tournament defeating Dhorpatan Sports Club on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, March 14: The host departmental team Armed Police Force has advanced into semifinals of the ongoing fifth Open Women’s National Volleyball Tournament defeating Dhorpatan Sports Club on Tuesday. In the group B match played at the Armed Police Force headquarters in Halchowk, Armed Police  defeated Dhorpatan on straight sets of 25-8, 25-5, 25-9 to reach the last four as the group winner. Armed Police had defeated the other departmental team Nepal Police Club in its first match. In the Group A match played on the same day, the other departmental team Tribhuvan Army Club beat Jawalakhel Volleyball Training Center on straight sets of 3-0 in 25-10, 25-18, 25-18. Also, in Group A, the match between Shivam New Diamond Academy and Jawalkhel on Wednesday will decide the semifinal lineup, while Nepal Police will take on Dhorpatan on the same day.
