The duo met on the sets of 2008 film ‘Dev D’, which was directed by Anurag Kashyap. Kalki, the Indian actor of French descent, married Anurag in 2011 after a live-in of two years. But in 2013, the couple headed for a separation as their domestic life was fraught with friction and irrevocable differences.
Things have been amicable between the two with no hard feelings. A source told the daily, “He isn't made for marriage. The divorce is painful to both but they've made a pact to be there for each other. In a way, it's the sweetest divorce you'll ever know.”
Kalki’s last release ‘Margarita with Straw’ has been well-appreciated and she has ‘Love Affair’ in her kitty. Anurag’s film ‘Bombay Velvet’ just released last week.
