Football Association of Malaysia on Friday informed that there was a misunderstanding about the friendly match between Nepal and Malaysia. The association informed that Nepali national team will play a friendly match against Malaysia U-22 on March 27. However, All Nepal Football Association on February 23 had informed that Nepal will play a friendly match against Malaysia national team on March 29.
Nevertheless, Malaysian football governing body informed that the two associations had agreed to play a International Friendly A match on March 29 and said that the confusion led to the match being rescheduled. Meanwhile, the two teams will be playing a International Friendly A match in May. Nepal’s newly appointed coach Gyotuki Koji will lead the team. The closed camp training is expected to start from Sunday.
