The deal also mentions that Gorkha Brewery will remain the main sponsor of league football at all levels -- district, regional, martyrs memorial and national league -- for three years.

ANFA President Ganesh Thapa and Rajendra Gurung, the marketing and sales director of Gorkha Brewery, signed the deal on behalf of their respective institutions. Gorkha Brewery now reserves the right to suffix the title of the league with a name of its product.
ANFA has estimated the total costs of league to be Rs 50 million. The government of Nepal has already promised Rs 2 million to ANFA. "We will arrange the rest of the fund through FIFA, Asian Football Confederation, other neighboring countries and ANFA´s internal resources," Thapa said during the function.
He said that the agreement would take Nepali football to a new height. "Nepali football had taken a stride forward in professionalism when Gorkha Brewery collaborated with ANFA in 2005 but we could not maintain the pace after domestic football was halted for a few years," Thapa said.
Earlier, ANFA had declared an ambitious plan to form district, regional, and national league for the first time starting this season as per its policy of decentralizing football. The matches of the proposed national league will be held on the home and away format.
The marketing and sales director of Gorkha Brewery Gurung said that the partnership between ANFA and his company would provide platform for hidden football talents in the country.

Speaking at the same function, Ashis Bista, the marketing general manager of the Gorkha Brewery, said that the company was dedicated to the development of football in Nepal.
"We are directly involved in sponsoring Martyrs Memorial A Division League, Budhasubba Gold Cup, Sindhu Bhotekoshi Cup and others," Bista said adding that the historic sponsorship agreement with ANFA once again proved that his company is always ready to join hands for development of football in Nepal and making the game popular and professional.
ANFA General Secretary Dhirendra Pradhan thanked Gorkha Brewery for its support to the game.
