All victims of Dhading accident identified

GAJURI (Dhading), Sept 8: The six people who were killed in an accident that occurred near Chiuribot of Jeevanpur VDC-5 in Dhading District on Monday have been identified.

Inspector at the Area Police Office Khanikhola, Prem Bandhu Pokharel, said those killed in the accident are Pratap Timilsina, Thuli Tamang, 55, and Pramila Dhungana, 40, of Jeevanpur VDC-5. They all died on the spot.


Similarly, 15-year-old Anju Tamang, 85-year-old Kanchhi Regmi and 19-year-old Ranjita Dhungana, who were rushed to Kathmandu for treatment died while undergoing treatment at the Trauma Center, the Arya Hospital, Chhauni and the City Centre Hospital Kalanki respectively.

Thirty-four people traveling on the same bus were injured and they are being treated at different hospitals in Kathmandu.

A bus carrying 40 people veered off the road and fell down on the Bhimdhunga-Lamidanda road section on Monday evening. They were returning after worshipping at the 12-yearly Godavari Festival at Godavari of Lalitpur. RSS
