KATHMANDU, Aug 2 : Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has announced that all national documents, except banknotes, will now be printed by the Security Printing Center under the ministry.
Speaking at the launch of 14 new postage stamps on Friday, Minister Gurung stated that the publication of postage stamps, which was previously handled by the Janak Education Material Center, will now be brought under the ministry’s jurisdiction.
Ballot papers printed for 36 districts

He emphasized that aside from currency notes, all essential national documents including stamps, will henceforth be printed by the Security Printing Center, a body under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
