Minister for Information and Communications Raj Kishor Yadav, Chairman of the Federation of Nepali Journalist Shiva Gaunle, and Television Chairman Nirmal Gurung jointly conferred the Award on Ale at a function organized to mark the 5th anniversary of the Television in the capital city.
The award was in recognition to Ale´s courage of reporting despite risks.
During the reporting, she was attacked by unknown person and left severely injured at Kohalpur on May 22, 2011.
