While restricting Nepal to the low total, Zia-ur-Rehman and Perwez Malakzai of Afghanistan took three wickets each. Likewise, Zia-ur-Rehman grabbed two wickets. Sunil Dhamala was top-scorer for Nepal at 46 runs.
