7th 'Made in Nepal' Expo concludes

The seventh 'Made in Nepal' expo kicked off in Lalitpur on Friday.

The seventh 'Made in Nepal' expo kicked off in Lalitpur on Friday. The two-day event was inaugurated by Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply, Matrika Prasad Yadav. Speaking at the event Minister Yadav said the expo had given example that youths could invest for the productive sectors within the country. "Ministry is already ready to promote and encourage the domestic production,” he said, assuring government's facilitation to the youth investors.

Although some grudges are heard that there was no atmosphere for investment within the country, the youths have done well; he expressed happiness and lauded their courage. The Minister however said youth entrepreneurs were compelled to export the productions. So, how their problems could be solved on it could be considered, he added.


Similarly, Chairman of the Youth Entrepreneurs' Forum, Nicolas Pande stated that the expo was organized to share the information that various products' development were possible in the country and to provide opportunities to youth entrepreneurs at home. The exhibition saw over 100 stalls showcasing various products including clothes, pashmina, organic vegetables, medicinal herbs, honey and handicrafts.
