JANAKPUR, Feb 21: The police have arrested seven persons in connection with the murder of Rajendra Prasad Yadav, a Nepali Congress leader in Dhanusha district.
The police on Sunday made public seven people suspected of committing the crime: Ram Rijhan Yadav, 24, Jogindra Mahato, 42, Pramod Kumar Purbe, 35, Nage Sah, 22, Shubh Narayan Yadav, 24, Bechan Paswan, 24, and Jaslal Yadav, 35. Ram Rijhan Yadav is said to be the commander of Janatantrik Tiger Janashakti Party, an underground outfit in Tarai.

Superintendent of Police Ramdutta Joshi at District Police Office (DPO), Dhanusha informed that the investigations into the arrested people are underway.
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) had deployed a special team to arrest those in connection with the attacks over NC leader in the district.
The CIB, in a statement, said that those arrested have been handed over to the District Police Office, Dhanusha for further action. Rajendra Prasad Yadav, a local leader of Nepali Congress, was shot dead on February 5 by an unidentified group.
The gang had also opened fire at Nasim Rain, 45, and Ram Sogarath Mahato, 25, injuring them seriously.
