As of now, 587 prisoners have voluntarily returned, while some others have been relocated to other prisons across the country.

The Department of Prison Management has given them until October 6 to get back. If they fail to do so by the deadline, legal action will be taken against them.

The Department has also requested support from families, local authorities, security agencies, media, and other concerned bodies to help find the missing prisoners and bring them back.

Additionally, prisoners still at large have been asked to surrender at the nearest police office, prison, or relevant authority.
