KATHMANDU, Jan 26: On the recommendation of Nepal Police Headquarters, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday transferred 39 Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs).

According to new assignments, SSP Chabilal Joshi has been transferred as Kathmandu Police Chief, Dinesh Amatya to Metropolitan Crime Division and Thule Rai as Lalitpur Police Chief.
Similarly, Sarbendra Khanal has been transferred to the Secretariat of Inspector General of Police (IGP), Pitamber Adhikari of Lalitpur as Mechi Police Chief, Lumbini Zonal Chief Sher Bahadur Basnet as Deputy Director of Central Investigation Bureau and Dipak Kumar Thapa has been sent to Lumbini.
