38 fuel tankers enter Nepal via Dhangadhi checkpoint

DHANGADHI, Dec 29: As many as 38 fuel-loaded tankers have entered Nepal via Dhangadhi checkpoint on Tuesday.

India Oil Corporation (IOC) had stopped supplying petroleum products to Nepal since one week citing the lack of stock in the Banratha-based oil depot.The shortage of oil has hit the Dhangadhi area since no fuel was supplied in the last one week.

NOC Regional Chief Sharad Paudel on Tuesday said that 38 tankers of fuel have entered Dhangadhi through the way of Gaurifanta Checkpoint today. The fuel will be distributed on Monday Wednesday, he said.
