Pahal Bahadur Dangi, 45, of Kharsubot-7 who was trying to help Pavitra Oli, 46 of Pachabang-7 to cross the river was later found dead after he was swept away along with Oli, who is still missing.
Dilkumari Oli, daughter of Pavitra Oli could somehow manage to escape the fatal accident, informed District Police Office, Rolpa.
Police and locals are searching for Pavitra. Due to lack of bridges, numerous locals die while trying to cross rivers in the area every year.
