PARBAT, Aug 7: In an apparent suicide, a girl has gone missing after she jumped in a river at around 8:30 am on Sunday morning.
A 12th grader at Narayan Higher Secondary School, Yashoda Thapa, 18, has gone missing in Modikhola River.
Hailing from Jaidi, Baglung, Thapa was living temporarily at Kushma-9, Melmilap Chowk.
Immediately after receiving information that a girl has jumped in the river, police rushed to the river only to found Rs 3,600 and a mobile phone.
District Police Office has deployed 15 cops to search the missing girl.
