Severe snowfall, low visibility and poor communication made the rescue operation challenging. However, after three days of relentless effort, the team successfully located the stranded trekkers in the Batasedanda area, situated at around 4,900 meters above sea level.

According to the Nepali Army Public Relations and Information Directorate, the rescued tourists were safely escorted to Yak Kharka and are now being taken back to Jomsom along with the rescue team.
