BAGLUNG, Dec 3: Fourteen persons have died on the spot and three others have sustained injuries when a jeep plunged into Badigad river at Kopche, Bhimgithe of Badigad rural municipality on Tuesday.

According to an eye witness Sagar Kharel, three injured passengers were rushed to Burtibang for treatment while one has gone missing in the river.
The ill-fated jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5219) was en route to Baglung Nisikhola from Isma, Gulmi, according to local police.
