A meeting of the parties including the NC, UML and MPRF-D at the PM´s residence at Baluwatar asked the Maoists to withdraw states announcement, saying that it would render the CA meaningless.
The parties also concluded that the Maoist posed challenge to the jurisdiction of the elected CA. According to NC Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel, the meeting also asked the Maoists to lift House obstruction and stop inciting people to encroach upon forests, looting agriculture produce from farmers and attacking other parties´ cadres.
