1 killed in ambulance accident

NUWAKOT, Nov 7: Sandip Bharati, 24, of Manahari in Makwanpur district died when an ambulance met with an accident at Bahrabise, Sundaradevi of Tadi rural municipality-4 in the district last night.

NUWAKOT, Nov 7: Sandip Bharati, 24, of Manahari in Makwanpur district died when an ambulance met with an accident at Bahrabise, Sundaradevi of Tadi rural municipality-4 in the district last night.

Bharati died on the spot when the ambulance ( Ba 16 Cha 897) operated by Kantipur Dental General Hospital, Naya Bazar, Kathmandu, fell some 50 metres from the road last night. The ambulance was going towards Kathmandu from Samundratar of Nuwakot. 


It is stated that three people including Bharati were in the ambulance when it fell down. Locals and police reached the accident site immediately for rescue but the remaining two people travelling in the ambulance are said to be out of contact, according to the police.
