YCL withdraws indefinite strike in Chitwan

CHITWAN, Aug 1: The Young Communist League (YCL), UCPN (Maoist)´s youth organization, has withdrawn its programme of indefinite Chitwan strike after the local administration agreed to release its six cadres.



The YCL Chitwan withdrew its strike from 5:00 pm Thursday after the talks with the officials at the District Administration Office, Chitwan.[break]



YCL District In-charge Ishwar Sapkota said that the administration agreed to release two cadres today and remaining four by 4:00 pm on Friday.



Earlier on Thursday, the banda enforcers vandalized the office of the Nepal Telecom in Tandi of east Chitwan.
