KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Veteran Indian actor Dharmendra has passed away. According to Indian news agency IANS, the 89-year-old actor breathed his last on Monday afternoon at his residence. According to IANS, the veteran actor breathed his last at around 1 PM on Monday.
Earlier reports on November 11 claimed his death, but Hema Malini and Esha Deol dismissed the news, expressing concern over the false reports. Dharmendra had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on November 10 and was on a ventilator for two days before being discharged on November 12.

Following the news of his death, numerous Bollywood stars visited the crematorium to pay their last respects. Amitabh Bachchan, along with his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan, were among those who came to bid farewell to the legendary actor.
Filmmaker Karan Johar also confirmed Dharmendra’s passing and paid tribute to him through his official social media accounts.
