US Dollar sells at Rs 138.74, Euro at Rs 145.19

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Nepal Rastra Bank has set today's exchange rates for foreign currencies. The central bank has fixed the buying rate for one US dollar at Rs 138.74 and the selling rate at Rs 139.34. It has determined the euro's buying rate at Rs 144.56 and the selling rate at Rs 145.19.

Similarly, it has set the buying rate for one UK pound sterling at Rs 173.27 and the selling rate at Rs 174.02. It has fixed the buying rate of the Swiss franc at Rs 152.97 and selling at Rs 153.64. The Australian dollar's buying rate stands at Rs 86.95, while its selling rate is Rs 87.32. The Canadian dollar is trading at Rs 97.08 for buying and Rs 97.50 for selling. The Singapore dollar's exchange rate has been set at Rs 102.84 for buying and Rs 103.28 for selling.

For 10 Japanese yen, the bank has fixed the buying rate at Rs 9.02 and the selling rate at Rs 9.06. It has set the Chinese yuan's buying rate at Rs 19.02 and the selling rate at Rs 19.10. The Saudi Arabian riyal is valued at Rs 36.99 for buying and Rs 37.15 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 38.05 for buying and Rs 38.22 for selling.The central bank has also determined the Thai baht's buying rate at Rs 4.10 and the selling rate at Rs 4.12. It has fixed the UAE dirham's buying rate at Rs 37.77 and the selling rate at Rs 37.94. The Malaysian ringgit is trading at Rs 31.14 for buying and Rs 31.28 for selling. The South Korean won (per 100 units) has a buying rate of Rs 9.57 and a selling rate of Rs 9.62. It has valued the Swedish krona at Rs 12.80 for buying and Rs 12.86 for selling, while the Danish krone's exchange rate stands at Rs 17.81 for buying and Rs 17.89 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the exchange rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.81 for buying and Rs 17.89 for selling. It has valued the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 449.32 for buying and Rs 451.26 for selling. The Bahraini dinar is trading at Rs 368.10 for buying and Rs 369.69 for selling, while the Omani riyal's exchange rate has been fixed at Rs 360.35 for buying and Rs 361.91 for selling.

Meanwhile, the bank has set the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that it may revise these rates at any time if necessary. It has also been noted that commercial banks may set different exchange rates, and the latest updates are available on the central bank's official website.
