KATHMANDU, Nov 22: The traffic situation in the core city of Durbarmarg and the surrounding areas has been thrown into chaos with the ruling staging tens of thousands of people in what it calls a show of strength. CPN-UML leaders and activists have thronged the Kathmandu streets. Meanwhile, activists have already started their protest from Bhadrakali from 11:15 AM.
CPN-UML, aiming to stage 100,000 partyworkers and activists in Kathmandu on Friday, ostensibly to raise awareness against anarchy. The roads in the capital have become chaotic since the leaders and activists started to gather in the streets.
Long traffic jams are occurring everywhere, and the police are struggling to manage traffic.
