U-19 Women's Asia Cup: Nepal set  95-run target for India

KATHMANDU, Dec 17: Nepal have set a target of 95 runs for India in the ongoing semifinal match of U-19 Women's Asia Cup in Malaysia on Tuesday.

After India won the toss and invited Nepal to bat first at the Kinrara Oval Cricket Ground, Nepal managed to score 94 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Captain Puja Mahato scored 25, Anisha Kumari Yadav scored 20 not out, Sana Praveen scored 9 and Sony Pakhrin scored 8 runs. Anisha contributed 20 runs off 9 balls with the help of 4 fours.

On behalf of India, Parunika Sisodia took 4 wickets and Anandita Kishor and Mithila Vinod took one wicket each.

Nepal and India have already entered the Super Four of the U-19 Asia Cup, which was organized for the first time. The ongoing match between Nepal and India will decide the group winner and runner-up of Group B. Pakistan, which are in the same group, have been eliminated from the league after losing two matches in a row.
