Shahi has suffered a deep cut on the head. He has also sustained injuries on the hand while trying to save himself. The incident happened at around 10 am.

Earlier, the unidentified assailants had stormed into the campus on four motorcycles and were searching for Shahi. They pounced on him soon after they found him having tea at the canteen.

“It appears they (the assailants) came in here with intent to attack,” a student leader at the campus said, before adding, “Some friends from inside the organization (ANNFSU) have hand in the attack.”
