During the meeting of the ruling parties held at Prime Minister´s residence on Wednesday afternoon, the Prime Minister made it clear that he was not an obstacle to consensus, said his political advisor Devendra Poudel.
He added that the PM was for concrete consensus on amendment of constitution for election.
"As the coming government is the election government, mere change of prime minister would not solve many problems. All problems should therefore be solved in package before forming election government," advisor Poudel quoted PM as saying.
On a separate note, he refuted the news that difference grew between the party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and PM Dr Bhattarai. He claimed that the media reports about difference between the party chairman and the PM were baseless and false, he added.
