RSP liaison office vandalised in Jhapa

An RSP liaison office in Jhapa was vandalised ahead of the March 5 HoR election, with police investigating after a windowpane was broken.

KATHMANDU, Feb 5: A liaison office of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Jhapa district was vandalised ahead of the House of Representatives (HoR) election scheduled for March 5.



The office at Kamal Rural Municipality-2 had been set up for election mobilisation after the party nominated RSP Senior Leader Balen Shah as its candidate from Jhapa constituency no. 5.

Police have reached the site and launched an investigation into the incident.


According to the District Police Office, Jhapa, a windowpane of the building was broken during the vandalism.
