KATHMANDU, Dec 22: Nikita Poudel, wife of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, has also been made a defendant in the Suryadarshan Cooperative fraud case.
Poudel has been made a defendant and a case has been filed at the Kaski District Court for the purpose of confiscating property. The Kaski District Government Attorney's Office stated that Poudel has also been made a defendant in connection with the offense related to money laundering.
A case has been filed on three charges against Rabi Lamichhane at the Kaski District Court. The charges are related to organized crime, cooperative fraud, and money laundering offenses.
