Locals obstructed the transportation services today demanding rightful compensation after a microbus (Ba 2 Kha 1892) operating its services in the route killed locals Machhindra Maharjan and Prakash Maharjan Wednesday morning.[break]
According to member of the Kirtipur Transport Entrepreneurs´ Association, Kalu Bahadur Shrestha, transport services will be resumed after the agreement as initiatives are underway to reach agreement with the victim side at the Metropolitan Police Sector, Kirtipur.
He said police arrested the microbus driver, Jujubhai Maharjan, and impounded the microbus.
