Rakura Heavenly Classic launched

KATHMANDU, Dec 20: Himal Tea Industries Pvt Ltd launched its Rakura brand of Heavenly Classic teas packed in the nation´s first double-chambered tea bags today at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Durbar Marg in Kathmandu.



Damodar Prasad Gautam, past director of Tea Development Corporation, graced the event as the Chief Guest along with Rajendra Dhakal, former DGM of the same Corporation.[break]



“We´ve reimaged Nepali tea again,” said RK Rathi, founder and chairman of the company, adding, “Our expertise of over 40 years in passionately producing and exporting quality Nepali tea around the globe has helped us serve you one of the finest tea drinking experience in the world in its best form.”



Rakura Heavenly Classics features Nepal´s finest teas in three original flavors of Green, Black and CTC and comes with odorless rapid release filter paper, surgical grade antimicrobial aluminum wires, unbleached pure cotton thread as well as food grade tags that are made from natural fibers.



The new launched tea will be made available in 10, 25 and 100 double-chambered tea bag packs and will be launched from 37 selected stores at major locations in Kathmandu from Friday for a suggested retail price of Rs 55 to Rs 190, depending upon the variant and volume of the offering.
