Preparations for NC Mahasamiti meeting over

KAWASOTI, April 7: Preparations for the Nepali Congress (NC) Mahasamiti meeting beginning from tomorrow, Monday have been almost completed.



Party President Sushil Koirala including central committee members have already arrived and are now busy in the preparations for the meeting to be held at Parasi.[break]



Talking to RSS, party President Koirala said the gathering would come up with an important decision, giving an outlet to the nation. With the Mahasamiti meeting, the party would dedicate itself to the upcoming election.



"Now the party´s entire attention will focus on the election since holding timely election and thereby drafting a new constitution is the need of the hour", he said.



Meanwhile, NC President Koirala visited the Tribeni-based Gandak Barrage today. During the inspection, he pledged to draw the government´s attention towards the problems created by the barrage inside the Nepali territory.
