KATHMANDU, April 7: CPN-UML chairman Jhalanath Khanal on Sunday ruled out chances of holding Constituent Assembly (CA) poll in June-July as the UCPN Maoist itself is not ready for the elections.

Speaking at an interaction program organized by Reporters Club Nepal at his residence, Khanal argued, "Why would the UCPN (Maoist) forge an agreement on March 13 if they really wanted elections in the third week of June? [break]

Referring to UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal´s threat to foil the elections in November if it could not be held in June-July, Khanal also warned him not to issue such threats as nobody would fear from it.

On the occasion, UML leader Khanal stressed on the need to set the date for CA elections since it would not be possible to postpone the date repeatedly as in the past.
