KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Jagdish Chandra Pokharel has been appointed as the director of the Central Policy, Research and Training Institute of the Nepali Congress (NC).
According to a statement issued by NC Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, the party’s Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka appointed Pokharel as the director to oversee policy issues of the institute on Wednesday.
Pokharel is a former vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission.
