Thankot depot of the NOC supplied 421,000 kiloliter of petroleum products Wednesday. Capital city has the demand of some 350,000 kiloliter of petroleum products each day.
Commoners were badly affected for the last some months due to obstruction in regular supply of the petroleum products following the strikes and laborers´ protest.
NOC spokesperson Jay Mukunda Dhungel said there will be regular supply of the petroleum products if there were no bandas and other problems.
However, general secretary of Petroleum Dealers´ Association Sarad Bhandari complained lack of sufficient supply adding that demand for petroleum products was high after the strike.
